Progressive laws in Democrat-run cities are coming back to bite homeowners as cagey illegal immigrants turn their lenient views on squatters’ rights against them.
A viral video on TikTok explains to illegal immigrants the ins and outs of “invading a house in the United States.”
“I found out that there is a law that says that if a house is not inhabited, we can seize it,” the man tells his followers in Spanish.
It also applies to the “land invasion,” he informs viewers, adding, “and I think that will be my next business: invading abandoned houses.”
“Since I have looked for some codes with my friends, Africans,” he continues, “and they told me that they have already taken about seven houses.”
“And, as the saying goes,” he states, “‘Daddy, you have to look for the return,’ and the return right now is to invade house[s].”
“We can invade a house in the USA, what do you think about this new law?” the caption at the top of the video reads.

The alarming video comes days after a New York City property owner was arrested for changing the locks on her own $1 million home in Queens.
In February, squatters had moved into the home Adele Andaloro had inherited from her parents. She discovered the intruders when she went to sell the property and found that someone had changed the locks on the door.

“By the time someone does their investigation, their work, and their job, it will be over 30 days and this man will still be in my home,” Andaloro told WABC.
A week later, Andaloro changed the locks when the squatters were out of the house.
Upon their return, the squatters pushed through the front door and called the cops, claiming Andaloro was trespassing in her own home.
When the police arrived, they arrested Andaloro because of a New York law that says “it’s against the law to turn off the utilities, change the locks, and remove the belongings of someone who claims to be a tenant,” according to WABC.
