TRUMP TWEETS: Slams the ‘witch hunt,’ responds to cartoon image of CNN anchor

Special counsel Robert Mueller is expected to file his “Russia collusion” report with the Department of Justice any day now, and President Trump indicated again on Twitter Friday morning that he is ready for the “witch hunt” to come to and end!

Earlier this month, Sen. Richard Burr (R-N.C.), the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said that no evidence has been found of any “collusion” between the Trump campaign and Moscow in the 2016 presidential campaign.

The president, who has consistently called the whole thing a “witch hunt” for the past two years, tweeted Friday morning:

Highly respected Senator Richard Burr, head of Senate Intelligence, said, after interviewing over 200 witnesses and studying over 2 million pages of documents, “WE HAVE FOUND NO COLLUSION BETWEEN THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN AND RUSSIA.” The Witch Hunt, so bad for our Country, must end!

Twitter user and author Wayne Dunlap responded to the president’s tweet with a cartoon drawing portraying a very aged CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer in the year 2038 as still looking for evidence of the collusion. In the cartoon, Blitzer is saying, “UPDATE! We should see evidence of Russia-Trump collusion any day now.”

Dunlap then wrote to Trump, “DESPERATE FARCE! No evidence has been presented after years of investigation by organizations w/ massive resources & contacts FBI, U.S. intelligence apparatus, huge news networks & media, Democrat Party, Hillary’s campaign, U.S. Congress, and a once-in-a-decade Special Prosecutor.”

President Trump responded by tweeting, “Fake News is so bad for our Country!”
