REPORT: GOP governor entertaining 2020 run, not throwing suitors out of his office (video)

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan indicated he’s not ruled out a 2020 primary challenge to President Trump.

“I would say I’m being approached from a lot of different people and I guess the best way to put it is, I haven’t thrown them out of my office,” Hogan said in an interview with CBS News.

The article goes on to state the following:

Hogan’s inauguration in Annapolis last month, which included former Florida governor and Trump rival Jeb Bush, centered around the themes of political courage and integrity, both at the state and federal level. The Maryland governor was due to meet with high-profile “Never Trumpers” Bill Kristol and Sarah Longwell, his spokesperson said late last month.

“I do believe that there are people in Congress and other leaders in the Republican Party who have not stood up when they disagree or when they think that the president is doing something wrong. I’ve not been afraid to do that,” Hogan said on Wednesday.
