The latest “Fake News” hoax against Donald Trump earned the Truth Social treatment when the former president spoke out against those pretending to be “shocked.”
Whether at the southern border where terror watchlist encounters were on the rise or in the Middle East where the sovereignty of Israel was being undermined, the resident-in-chief’s policies continued to favor those who wished the United States harm. So, naturally corporate media attempted to malign Trump for using the term “bloodbath” in predicting the future of the auto industry should the incumbent win re-election.
Similarly on brand, the GOP leader didn’t suffer the blows silently as he issued a response Monday morning on Truth Social.
“The Fake News Media, and their Democrat Partners in the destruction of our Nation, pretended to be shocked at my use of the word BLOODBATH,” wrote Trump, “even though they fully understood that I was simply referring to imports allowed by Crooked Joe Biden, which are killing the automobile industry.”
“The United Auto Workers, but not their leadership, fully understand what I mean,” he continued. “With the Electric Car Mandate being pushed by Biden, there soon won’t be any cars made in the USA — UNLESS I’M ELECTED PRESIDENT, IN WHICH CASE AUTO MANUFACTURING WILL THRIVE LIKE NEVER BEFORE!!! MAGA2024.”
Widely covered, Trump had commented from the campaign trail in Dayton, Ohio, “If you’re listening, [Chinese] President Xi — and you and I are friends — but he understands the way I deal. Those big monster car manufacturing plants that you’re building in Mexico right now — and you think you’re gonna get that, you’re gonna not hire Americans and you’re gonna sell the cars to us — no.”
“We’re gonna put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you’re not gonna be able to sell those cars if I get elected. Now if I don’t get elected, it’s gonna be a bloodbath for the whole — that’s gonna be the least of it. It’s gonna be a bloodbath for the country,” continued the former president. “That’ll be the least of it. But they’re not gonna sell those cars. They’re building massive factories.”
Video of the speech had been shared by a parody account that boiled the remarks down to, “I WAS TALKING ABOUT CARS!!! FAKE NEWS!!!”
Of course, fake news only scratched the surface of the media as supercuts of their shameless shenanigans featured their own, even recent, use of the term “bloodbath” to describe varied election contests, economic matters, and the plight of Taylor Swift fans endeavoring to secure tour tickets.

Another viral video shared snippets of the same talking heads riling up their viewers with all kinds of incendiary language to assert if Trump were re-elected, as The Liberal Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin said, “We’re gonna see violence the likes of which we didn’t even see on January 6.”
Later Monday, the president went on to share one of the supercuts with the caption, “The Fake News made a big deal out of the word ‘Bloodbath,’ knowing that it was about our shrinking auto manufacturing business, and the fact that they use the same name all the time. They are sooo bad!”
