There are few advisers closer to Donald Trump than Kellyanne Conway.
Conway had a big announcement.
And Kellyanne Conway revealed who Donald Trump will pick as his vice president.
Donald Trump is now the presumptive Republican Party nominee for president.
And the last big decision Trump has to make before the general election is who to pick as a running mate.
There are many theories on selecting a vice president.
Some selections are made to double down on shifts in voting patterns.
That could be the case this year as the biggest story in politics is the ongoing realignment where black and Hispanic voters are abandoning the Democrat Party in droves.
Conway went on Fox News to urge Trump to pick a minority pointing to polls like the New York Times/Siena survey showing Trump leading Biden 46 to 40 percent.
“Look, every way you look at it, Hispanics have so many reasons to dump Biden-Harris. The main one is the border. How cynical of an entire Democratic Party to believe that in the nine years since Donald Trump elevated into international consciousness his view on illegal immigration. Build the wall. Be fair to the people here, America first,” Conway declared.
When Barack Obama won 71 percent of the Hispanic vote on the way to defeating Mitt Romney in the 2012 election, the GOP establishment commissioned the infamous “autopsy report” which claimed that unless Republicans embraced amnesty for illegal aliens, they would never win another national election.
Donald Trump improved on Romney’s Hispanic vote share, winning 32 percent in 2016 running on the toughest illegal immigration platform of any candidate in history.
Conway noted that in the years since Trump came on the scene, the Democrats’ bet that black and Hispanic voters would only vote on race backfired.
But Conway oddly claimed that to capitalize on this fissure within the Democrat Party coalition, Trump should pick his VP on race and adopt the failed identity politics strategy of the left.
“Nine years later, the Democrats still think that attacking Donald Trump on the border is going to get them Hispanic vote. Hispanics are also upset that they are hostile to religion, that they masked up their kids and kept them home for the better part of two school years. The economic upward mobility that is being lost to them. So I think that Donald Trump’s going to have a monster gains among Hispanics, and I think it’s part of why he should pick a person of color as his VP,” Conway added.
Polls show Donald Trump leading Joe Biden in all six swing states that will decide the election.

Black and Hispanic voters are rejecting Democrats because Joe Biden wants to ban cars, impose woke ideology in schools, open the border to an invasion of illegal aliens, and inflate away the value of the dollar.
The way for Donald Trump to keep winning over black and Latino voters isn’t to try and play racial politics better than the Democrats with his choice of a running mate.
It’s to double down on his MAGA agenda of secure borders, unleashing the American energy industry and supporting law and order.
