U.S. Sen. Bernie Moreno (R-OH) has officially introduced a piece of legislation in the U.S. Senate that calls for the Norwegian Nobel Committee to award President Donald Trump the Nobel Peace Prize.
Breitbart News exclusively reported on Moreno’s proposed legislation on Wednesday.
As we will see, Trump believes that it is unlikely that he would get a Nobel Peace Prize for anything, regardless of who — outside of the committee — supports it.

He pulled it off
Moreno provided a statement to Breitbart News explaining why it is that he believes Trump ought to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.
The senator said:
President Trump just pulled off what neocons and Democrat globalists have failed to do for decades: peace in the Middle East with Iran’s nuclear arsenal decimated — all with no American boots on the ground. President Trump is delivering exactly what he promised, the era of regime change and Forever Wars abroad is over. Now it’s time for the world to recognize the obvious truth and award him the Nobel Peace Prize.
Breitbart goes on to quote the resolution that Moreno has introduced in the Senate.
It, in part, reads:
Resolved, That the Senate — (1) calls on the Norwegian Nobel Committee to award President Donald John Trump the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize; (2) urges all peace-loving nations to join in this call; and (3) expresses its deepest appreciation to President Trump for bringing an end both to Iran’s nuclear program and hostilities related thereto in only 12 days.
We’ll have to see how much support the resolution gets.
“I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize…”
Before the ceasefire between Iran and Israel was announced, Trump posted a message to his Truth Social account explaining why he thinks it is unlikely that he would get a Nobel Peace Prize for just about anything.
This message specifically came after Trump and his administration helped to broker a peace treaty between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of Rwanda.
Trump, in part, wrote:
I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for this, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for stopping the War between India and Pakistan, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for stopping the War between Serbia and Kosovo, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for keeping Peace between Egypt and Ethiopia (A massive Ethiopian built dam, stupidly financed by the United States of America, substantially reduces the water flowing into The Nile River), and I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for doing the Abraham Accords in the Middle East which, if all goes well, will be loaded to the brim with additional Countries signing on, and will unify the Middle East for the first time in “The Ages!”
This, of course, is because Trump — and countless others — believe that those who award Nobel Peace Prizes are biased, particularly against conservatives like Trump.
The president reiterated his message, writing, “No, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize no matter what I do, including Russia/Ukraine, and Israel/Iran, whatever those outcomes may be, but the people know, and that’s all that matters to me!”
