House Republicans are furious about Speaker Mike Johnson’s Continuing Resolution — cautioning that it will burden President-elect Trump with additional debt. Lawmakers continue to await the text of the 1,400-page spending bill.
Bipartisan efforts are currently in progress. “We’re almost there,” Johnson stated during his weekly press conference on Tuesday.
GOP Representative Eric Burlison expresses his opposition to the continuing resolution currently progressing through Congress, which allows for ongoing spending without the approval of a budget.
