America’s culture wars have reached a turning point, and President Trump is leading the charge in the battle to safeguard our nation’s most vulnerable from radical ideological experiments. The recent announcement by Stanford Medicine that they will halt child sex-change surgeries underscores the effectiveness of Trump’s unwavering stance. But make no mistake—this fight is far from over.
Since retaking the presidency, Trump has been laser-focused on dismantling the progressive gender ideology that has wreaked havoc in our schools, hospitals, and communities. His January 28 executive order made clear that federal funding would no longer support institutions engaged in the chemical and surgical mutilation of children. A straightforward directive with a simple, powerful purpose: protect our kids.
The left predictably responded with hysteria, lawsuits, and outrage. Yet, reality has begun to sink in for radical medical institutions. Last month, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles shut down its child sex-change center, admitting the “severe impacts” of Trump’s decisive actions had forced their hand. Now Stanford Medicine joins the growing list of hospitals forced to reconsider their dangerous practices.
Stanford’s Pediatric and Adolescent Gender Clinic, founded by pediatric endocrinologist Tandy Aye, has been ground zero for the left’s gender extremism. Aye herself has openly advocated removing the healthy organs of minors, disturbingly equating sterilized testicles to a useless appendix. Such twisted logic exemplifies the dangerous pseudoscience that has infiltrated medicine, endangering our youth.
‘Her testes are nonfunctional, and in medicine, don’t we often recommend the removal of nonfunctional organs like an appendix?’
Make no mistake, Stanford’s pause on surgeries is a victory—but it’s incomplete. The clinic has announced it will still offer hormone treatments and puberty blockers, procedures that carry lifelong consequences. Dr. Stanley Goldfarb, chairman at medical advocacy group Do No Harm, rightly emphasized, “Children deserve evidence-based care, not irreversible harm backed by political activists.” Stanford Medicine remains under scrutiny for its past and ongoing practices, and rightly so.
This partial retreat by Stanford is not merely a local event—it’s part of a broader national awakening spearheaded by the Trump administration. Just weeks ago, the Supreme Court upheld Tennessee’s commonsense legislation banning sex-change surgeries and sterilizing puberty blockers for minors. Similar laws protecting children are on the books in nearly half the states, thanks to conservative governors and lawmakers who refuse to bow to radical activists.
The Trump administration isn’t just issuing strongly worded statements—they are enforcing real consequences. Attorney General Pam Bondi recently instructed the Department of Justice to aggressively prosecute institutions preying on vulnerable children. Already, criminal probes have been launched against Boston Children’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital Colorado, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, institutions identified as top offenders in pushing destructive gender ideology onto impressionable youth.
Now, all eyes are on Stanford. Will they fully abandon these harmful procedures, or will President Trump’s Justice Department need to step in once again? Stanford’s move is a testament to the power of bold conservative leadership, but it also serves as a stark reminder: the fight to defend our children is not yet won.
The left claims we conservatives are driven by hate or ignorance, but nothing could be further from the truth. Our opposition stems from compassion for confused children being exploited by woke ideologues and profit-seeking medical establishments. We oppose irreversible damage inflicted on innocent kids who deserve guidance and support, not experimental treatments that leave lasting physical and psychological scars.
President Trump’s courage in confronting this issue head-on has emboldened Americans across the country to speak out and take action. The tide is turning, institutions are retreating, and common sense is finally reclaiming ground.
But conservatives must remain vigilant. We must continue to demand accountability from medical institutions, support courageous legislators fighting for our values, and keep pressure on those who seek to harm our nation’s children. The fight is not over until every child in America is safe from the radical gender agenda.
President Trump’s leadership proves that conservative values—protecting children, defending parental rights, and rejecting extremist ideology—can and must prevail. The momentum is with us. Now let’s finish the job.
