- Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum is egging on the violent protesters and lashing out at the Trump Administration for even trying to lay down the law. During a speech in Mexico City, Sheinbaum hailed the rioters as “good men and women” who just want to support their families.
- “Mexicans living in the United States are good men and women, honest people who went to the United States to seek a better life for themselves and to support their families,” Sheinbaum said. “They are not criminals! They are good men and women!”
- Sheinbaum also called for Mexicans in America to mobilize and take action if the U.S. decides to implement a tax on money sent home to Mexico. Remittances make up roughly 4% of Mexico’s gross domestic product.
- So she is threatening another insurrection against America for taxing money flowing out of our country.
