With whatever savings DOGE may have achieved about to become a drop of piss in the ocean by the “Big Beautiful Bill” – which codifies exactly zero of DOGE’s cost-saving efforts, raises the debt limit by $5 trillion, and increases the deficit by $2.5 trillion over 10 years (per CRFB) – former DOGE head Elon Musk pulled no punches on Tuesday, calling the legislation a “massive, outrageous, pork-filled” abomination.Â
“I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore,” Musk wrote on X.

Let’s be honest, Elon Musk has been made a fool of by the GOP. After assembling the DOGE team and spending months finding egregious levels of waste, fraud and abuse within the US government – i.e. what Trump supporters voted for – House and Senate Republicans gave Musk a little pat on the head, then proceeded to roll out President Trump’s ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ – that codified exactly zero of DOGE’s findings, raises the debt ceiling by $5 trillion, and relies on ambitious economic projections to achieve what the White House insists is $1.4 trillion in savings (while the Congressional Budget Office projects deficits of $1.7 – $2.3 trillion over the next decade).
Needless to say, Musk is livid.Â
On Tuesday, Musk posted to X, “I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination.”

Conservatives are outraged by a border agreement reached by Senators James Lankford (R-OK) and Chuck Schumer (D-NY). Around 50,000 individuals would be eligible to receive green cards under the agreement, which would also provide immediate work permits to those who are released into the country.
The Spectator strongly opposed the sale, stating that it should not go forward. “Is the GOP on the verge of compromising on the border?” was the title of the piece.
The Immigration Accountability Project asserts that the Senate agreement would:
An additional 50,000 green cards will be issued each year.
Work permits are available for adult offspring of H-1B holders, as well as for undocumented immigrants who have been released from detention.
Lawyers funded by taxpayers are provided for certain unaccompanied minors and foreign individuals who are deemed mentally unfit.
Temporary expulsion is granted when daily interactions exceed 5,000 for a consecutive period of seven days.
Restrict parole for individuals who enter entrance points without authorization.
“Absolutely not,” is how Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) firmly responded on X in a single phrase.
He stated to the Senate that the border security bill, H.R. 2, which was approved by the House, should be the starting point for any agreement.
In a social media post, Lankford defended the bill and expressed his frustration over the misrepresentation of the compromise agreement.
“Before making any conclusions about the border security law, I encourage everyone to take the time to read it.” He shared on X, “I also encourage individuals to exercise caution when consuming information found online.”
Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) vehemently criticized the bill.
“NOOOOOOOOO!” was her message on X. “This is not a border transaction!” This is Surrender on the border! Politicians in the United States who are elected and endorse this represent a different agenda, one that prioritizes the global community over the concerns of Americans. Consider using a paper shredder as an alternative to disposing of it conventionally.

Mary Miller (R-IL) claimed that Senate Republicans are collaborating with Chuck Schumer on a concealed agreement regarding amnesty and work permits for undocumented immigrants. ” I will vote against the Senate Republican amnesty surrender agreement. Enforce immigration policies, protect the border, and hold accountable! Put America first!
