In a powerful stand for Texan values, Morgan Collier, founder of Accountability Matters, has announced the first-ever Texas Judeo-Christian Capitol Day. The historic event is set to take place on Tuesday, May 20th, at 2 PM at the Texas State Capitol. In an exclusive interview with RAIR Foundation USA, Collier passionately discussed the significance of the event and the significant challenges she faced while organizing it, including a well-coordinated campaign of intimidation by terror-tied CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations).
CAIR, named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial, has faced widespread criticism for its documented associations with groups linked to Hamas. In 2008, the FBI formally severed all ties with CAIR due to its connections to Hamas, and in 2014, the United Arab Emirates designated CAIR as a terrorist organization, placing it alongside groups like al-Qaeda and ISIS.

A Bold Response to Radical Influence: The Genesis of Judeo-Christian Capitol Day
Morgan Collier’s determination to organize the Capitol Day began when she discovered that CAIR-Texas had been hosting Muslim Capitol Day at the Texas Capitol for years, largely unnoticed by the public. As an activist involved in legislative engagement, she was stunned to find that CAIR was using the Capitol to push a radical Islamic agenda under the guise of civil rights.
“When we discovered that CAIR was hosting these events under the guise of promoting civil rights while pushing a radical Islamic agenda, we knew we had to respond,” Collier explained that she and others couldn’t just sit back and watch as a Hamas-linked group used their Capitol to advance their ideological goals.
Realizing the urgent need to push back, Collier and her group planned a peaceful prayer rally to protest CAIR’s Muslim Capitol Day, initially scheduled for April 29, 2025. The intention was to peacefully assemble, pray, and demonstrate against what they saw as an ideological takeover of state institutions.
CAIR’s Intimidation Tactics: A Dark Turn
The situation took a dark turn when CAIR released a statement ahead of the event, raising serious safety concerns. After consulting with former law enforcement officials and other reliable sources, Collier and her group made the difficult decision to cancel the protest.
“After presenting CAIR’s statement to law enforcement and several other sources, we realized that the risks to our safety and our children’s safety were too high,” Collier revealed. “Considering CAIR’s documented ties to Hamas, it’s entirely understandable that the peaceful Texas protesters were concerned that showing up could result in violence or intimidation. In the end, protecting their families had to take precedence.”
This decision was not taken lightly. Collier emphasized that CAIR’s statement, combined with their Hamas ties, created a climate of fear, making the risk to Christian mothers and their children far too great.
CAIR’s intimidation tactics align with their long-standing strategy of using lawfare to suppress dissent. Known for weaponizing the legal system against critics, CAIR has filed numerous lawsuits to silence those who expose its radical connections.
CAIR’s Capitol Day: A Campaign of Defamation
After successfully silencing the protest, CAIR went ahead with their Muslim Capitol Day as planned on April 29, 2025. During the event, it appears CAIR distributed a professionally coordinated smear packet to lawmakers and attendees, filled with misinformation and defamatory content targeting RAIR Foundation USA, its founder Amy Mek, and Morgan Collier herself.
“They handed out a packet full of misinformation and defamatory content, smearing me and Amy Mek,” Collier recounted. “They didn’t even bother to get my name right; they called me ‘Megan.’ CAIR’s sloppy and desperate attacks reveal just how recklessly they go after anyone who challenges their radical agenda.
The packet of information, exposed by Texas House candidate Valentina Gomez, was not just a hit piece; it was a calculated effort to discredit Christian activists and suppress dissenting voices. The internal documents, obtained by Gomez’s campaign, revealed CAIR-Texas as a Hamas-linked propaganda machine.
The smear packet labeled RAIR Foundation as a hate organization, relying on discredited, far-left, debunked, and radical sources. CAIR’s goal was clear: paint peaceful Christian mothers as “dangerous extremists” while maintaining their own image as a civil rights group.
This kind of organized defamation is part of CAIR’s broader strategy to infiltrate public institutions under the guise of civil rights advocacy. Their Capitol Day events are not merely symbolic but serve as strategic footholds to influence state policies.
The Red-Green Axis: CAIR’s Alliance with Radical Leftists
The CAIR smear campaign was spearheaded by Sameeha Rizvi, a radical leftist turned Islamic political operative now working as CAIR-Texas’ Community Engagement Organizer. Rizvi, formerly a prominent voice in Queer and Trans activism at the University of Texas, has since shifted to promoting CAIR’s Sharia-aligned agenda, an ideology rooted in Islamic law, which in many countries criminalizes homosexuality and enforces oppressive practices. The irony is striking: a former LGBTQ activist now aligning with a movement rooted in an ideology fundamentally opposed to LGBTQ rights. This exemplifies the Red-Green Axis: seemingly opposed groups uniting to crush their common enemies—those who stand for freedom.
This alliance leverages progressive rhetoric to mask an authoritarian agenda, using social justice as a vehicle to erode Western freedoms and replace them with ideologies that contradict core American values.
Rizvi’s involvement in CAIR’s Muslim Capitol Day and the subsequent smear campaign shows how the Red-Green Axis brings together Marxist revolutionaries and Islamic supremacists to undermine Western values and freedoms.
Representative Brian Harrison: A Lone Voice of Support
Amid these challenges, Collier found a powerful ally to sponsor this historic event: Texas House Representative Brian Harrison. Despite the last-minute nature of the request, Harrison quickly offered his support, securing the event sponsorship within 36 hours. Collier praised him as a bold and principled leader, noting his consistent stance against misconduct throughout the legislative session.
“He has been the lone outspoken voice calling out misconduct and illegal behavior throughout the session,” Collier noted. As RAIR Foundation highlights, his support has been invaluable to Texans, and they hope his example inspires other lawmakers across America.
Harrison’s unwavering commitment to conservative values and his willingness to stand up for Judeo-Christian principles make him a critical ally in the fight to protect Texas from radical influence. Known for his courageous stance on Pro-Life policies and his role in advancing constitutional rights, Harrison exemplifies the leadership that Texans need during these challenging times. His involvement in the Judeo-Christian Capitol Day demonstrates his dedication to preserving faith, freedom, and the foundational values of Texas.
Who Is Morgan Collier?
Morgan Collier is not just a community activist. She is a Christian mother of eleven, an eighth-generation Texan, and a Summa Cum Laude graduate from the University of Houston-Victoria with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She also holds a Master’s in Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and plans to attend law school this fall.
Her dedication to Texan values and her unwavering commitment to protecting constitutional rights make her a formidable leader in the grassroots movement. “We will not be silenced by intimidation tactics,” Collier declared. “We are Texans, and we stand firm in our faith and heritage.”
Why Texas Judeo-Christian Capitol Day Matters
Collier envisions the Judeo-Christian Capitol Day as more than just a symbolic gathering; it’s a clear message to lawmakers that Texans will not allow radical agendas to infiltrate their state.
“We will peacefully but firmly advocate for our Judeo-Christian values,” Collier declared. “Our lawmakers need to know that Texans won’t allow groups like CAIR to dictate our policies or suppress our voices.”
Texans must also urge their representatives to support House Resolution 971, introduced by Rep. Jared Patterson, which seeks to declare CAIR unwelcome at the Texas Capitol officially. The resolution, co-sponsored by multiple Texas lawmakers, marks a historic move to protect the Capitol from radical influence. By supporting HR 971, Texans can ensure that groups tied to terrorism, such as CAIR, are no longer allowed to manipulate state policies under the guise of civil rights.
While this resolution marks a significant step forward, it does not go as far as Florida’s HR 1209, which calls for banning all government agencies, law enforcement, and local governments from engaging with CAIR. Texans should advocate for stronger measures that follow Florida’s lead, ensuring that groups linked to terrorism are fully barred from influencing state institutions.
Accountability Matters and Defending Our Republic have drafted a pledge for legislators to sign, committing to ban CAIR from the Capitol and from working with government agencies. Texans should demand that their lawmakers sign this pledge to protect their state from radical influence.

This event is not just about resistance, it’s also about advocating for laws and initiatives that represent all Texans, rooted in the principles of freedom and the vision of our Founding Fathers.

RAIR Foundation will continue to cover this ongoing battle for Texas’s future and the resistance against CAIR’s attempts to silence Christian voices. Texans, mark your calendars, May 20th is your chance to take a stand.
