There are so few bills being passed out of the Oregon House that the Senate is sending their Senators home early these days because there is no work to do (until the next day).
This is happening when the same Legislature made headlines by submitting a record number of Legislative Bills.
Those record number of bills caused lawmakers to ramrod the public with short-rushed hearings.
Look at the flood of 36 bills that had a ramrod hearing in just a few hours last April.
So we have a liberal-led Legislature that is hasty to public hearings for the public … and then slow/unproductive at the other times.
