President Donald Trump has some advice for Republicans facing harassment during their town halls.
In a Truth Social post, Trump said GOP politicians who are getting heckled during town halls should take immediate action to remove the problematic protesters from the venue.
Look:
“The Radical Left Democrats are paying a fortune to have people infiltrate the Town Halls of Republican Congressmen/women and Senators. These Great Patriot Politicians should not treat them nicely. Have them immediately ejected from the room – They are disruptors and troublemakers. You must allow your audience to know what you are up against, or else they will think they are Republicans, and that there is dissension in the Party. There is not, there is only LOVE and UNITY. Republicans are happy with what is taking place in our Country. We all love America!” Trump wrote.
Several high-profile Republican politicians have experienced critical audiences, such as Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Florida), who went toe-to-toe with anti-DOGE protesters last week. This was after two pro-Palestine protesters were removed from the audience for screaming and disrupting the event.
“This is my question for the audience,” Donalds said. “Do you want to yell or do you want to hear? Because if you want to hear, I’m trying to give you information. I told you: I am going to be factual. But you can yell or you can hear. The truth is, Joe Biden gave similar access to the same database during his administration to students.”
“Allow me to educate and bring you the full story. And when you’re ready, I’m going to tell you, because I don’t want you to yell and not hear the full story. Because you’re not listening, you’re yelling,” he said, as some in the audience jeered government efficiency.
