A Hispanic woman, a legal immigrant living in Florida, called into Mark Halperin’s 2Way program to express her outrage over Democrats bending over backward to defend Kilmar Abrego García, an alleged MS-13 gang member deported back to El Salvador. Her words cut straight to the heart of the Left’s hypocrisy:
“I am a legal citizen, and I am disgusted. I am so angry with liberals going out of the country for this guy.”
She continued, “I don’t understand what they’re trying to say to the Hispanic community. Like, are they trying to get votes? Because that’s not doing it, especially for people like us, that we obey the law. I don’t understand why are they doing this? It’s not doing anything. It’s just making us more angry.”
Her frustration is justified. When was the last time Democrats fought this hard for an American citizen? The answer is never. They don’t actually care about Abrego García—he’s just a political pawn in their never-ending crusade against President Trump’s immigration policies.
The Left’s obsession with undermining Trump’s America First agenda has led them to defend violent criminals while ignoring hardworking, legal immigrants who followed the rules. This isn’t about compassion—it’s about virtue signaling and open borders radicalism. The liberal media amplifies these narratives, painting gang members as victims while dismissing the concerns of lawful residents.
President Trump, on the other hand, has consistently championed legal immigration while cracking down on the criminal elements that Democrats seem so eager to protect. His policies prioritize the safety of American communities, and his administration’s deportation of dangerous gang members like Abrego García proves his commitment to law and order.
Meanwhile, the Democrats’ pandering to criminals alienates the very communities they claim to represent. Legal immigrants, like the woman who called into Halperin’s show, see through the Left’s charade. They recognize that Trump’s policies protect them, while Democrats side with those who break the law.
