It is with heavy hearts and a sense of significant loss that we, Americans, honor the memory of the victims of the Holocaust. We are in solidarity with the Jewish people in their unshakable resolve that never again any aspiring individual or government would even contemplate, much less carry out, the horrors similar to the ones committed by the Nazis.
The Holocaust was the systematic annihilation of six million Jews. Denying the Holocaust is denying reality. It is shamelessly attempting to gloss over one of the most horrific crimes in history.
We join with the Jewish people on this day and days to come in frustrating the schemes of genocidal aspirants. We are particularly affronted by the past and present rulers of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who have blatantly and belligerently taken upon themselves, against the wishes of honorable Iranians, the denial of the Holocaust, and the vilification of the State of Israel.
We demand, in the strongest of terms, that the hatemonger leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran abandon their foolish and shameful stance that does not represent the Iranian people, who have always considered Jewish people as friends, going back thousands of years.
We greatly honor the victims of the Holocaust and pray that humanity never again allows any people anywhere to suffer such a dreadful fate.
