India has closed all four sluice gates that control the flow of water through dams and canals, the first time since the Indus Waters Treaty was concluded in 1960.
Islamabad had earlier suspended all trade with New Delhi and closed its airspace to its airlines. India announced the expulsion of all Pakistani citizens, the cancellation of their visas and the closure of its border with the country.
Ambassador of Israel to India, Reuven Azar says, “We extended our condolences for the terrible attack that happened here. This is a watershed moment. We stand with India; it’s a very important moment. And of course, we discussed things of mutual concern that have to do both with fight against terrorism.
