
First Alert 4 was on the scene Thursday of a helicopter crash in Hartford, Illinois.
The crash happened at the corner of North Delmar and Date Street.
People on the scene told First Alert 4 that four people were pulled out of the helicopter before it caught fire.
A witness said three people were transported from the scene to area hospitals.
Witnesses on the scene told First Alert 4 that the crash happened as the helicopter was taking off.
A Facebook post made by the Hartford Fire Department hours before the crash said the department was hosting ARCH Medical for a training and the helicopter was supposed to be landing in an empty lot by the North Delamr and Date Street intersection.
