On April 22, 2025, the meadows of Pahalgam, Kashmir, were stained with blood in one of the most barbaric anti-Hindu massacres in recent memory. At least 27 Hindu tourists—men, women, honeymooners—were slaughtered in cold blood by Islamic terrorists for the “crime” of not being Muslim. Eyewitnesses recount a harrowing scene: attackers stopped vehicles, demanded ID cards, and then ordered victims to strip to confirm their religion. Once identified as Hindu, they were executed on the spot.
The killers weren’t anonymous gunmen—they were jihadis operating under code names: Moosa, Yunus, and Asif. Later identified as Asif Shaikh, Suleman Shah, and Abu Talha, all three were operatives of The Resistance Front (TRF), a proxy for Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba. Disguised in Indian Army fatigues, they used deception to stop vehicles, demand ID cards, and then ordered victims to recite the kalma, Islam’s declaration of faith. Some were checked for circumcision—those who failed these Islamic ‘tests’ were summarily executed.
A newlywed couple on their honeymoon was among the victims. The grieving widow was seen in viral photos sitting beside her husband’s lifeless body—his only offense: being born Hindu in a land where Muslims seek to erase all traces of non-Muslim life. This was not a random terror attack. It was a targeted, ritualistic slaughter—a continuation of the jihad that has plagued Kashmir for decades.
One grieving survivor told Indian media that her husband was shot after they were seen eating bhelpuri—the terrorist assumed he was not Muslim and executed him. Firstpost reported that after initial gunfire, the killers systematically began selecting only non-Muslims. One eyewitness recounted: “They asked him to say the kalma. He couldn’t. So they shot him.”
Let us be absolutely clear: Had the victims been Muslim, they would have been spared. The terrorists made sure to ask. This was not a case of mistaken identity, nor collateral damage. This was a religious test—fail it, and you die.
This massacre comes just days after a hate-filled tirade by Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, General Asim Munir, who publicly declared that anyone not following Sharia cannot be a “true Pakistani.” Speaking at a national clerics’ conference in Islamabad, Munir warned Pakistanis to teach their children about the “differences between Hindus and Muslims,” reviving the divisive and bloody Two-Nation Theory. Munir’s rant didn’t end at the border—it echoed across the valley of Kashmir, now littered with the bodies of innocent Hindus.
Even more disturbing: this massacre came less than a week after Pakistan’s Grand Mufti, Maulana Muneebur Rahman, and Mufti Taqi Usmani issued a formal Islamic fatwa declaring that all Muslim governments are religiously obligated to wage jihad to reclaim every land once ruled by Islam. Their words were broadcast across Pakistan, citing Islamic law as justification for war—not only against Israel, but implicitly against Kashmir, India, and beyond. The blood spilled in Pahalgam is not disconnected from this doctrine—it is the first chilling fulfillment of it.
Let there be no mistake: what happened in Pahalgam is ideological jihad. The same genocidal supremacism that drove out over 400,000 Kashmiri Pandits in the 1990 Islamic purge. The same death cult that drove the Islamic conquests of Khilji and Aurangzeb. The same bloodlust that inspired ISIS. These killers follow the doctrine that idol-worshippers—like Hindus—deserve death. They believe killing them earns divine reward. That’s not extremism. That’s doctrine.
This is not an isolated tactic. In Kenya, Islamic terrorists asked bus passengers to recite the Shahada—those who failed were murdered. In Minnesota, a Somali jihadi stabbed victims who couldn’t confirm they were Muslim. In Belgium, a terrorist spared a hostage only after she said she was observing Ramadan. This is a global pattern—question, verify, kill.
For the West—especially Americans—this must be a wake-up call. If you think this can’t happen here, you’re dangerously mistaken.
- Jihadis in U.S. cities openly glorify terrorists like Aafia Siddiqui.
- College campuses erupt with chants of intifada and death to Israel.
- Mosques and enclaves in the U.S. are named after Mughal tyrants who slaughtered non-Muslims.
- Sharia-based housing projects and religious compounds are quietly spreading across states like Texas.
- In U.S. mosques, jihadists openly glorify terrorists and call for the death of Jews.
Even in 2024, Hamas spared an Israeli Arab doctor during its massacre only after confirming he could answer Qur’anic questions. From Nairobi to Nigeria, Bangladesh to Belgium, the same grotesque ritual plays out—recite, prove, survive. Or fail—and die.
Pahalgam is not isolated. It is a preview. This is how it starts—first abroad, then in your neighborhood. First ID cards, then ideology tests. First meadows, then malls. Churches silenced. Children segregated. Women veiled. Freedoms erased.
This isn’t “phobia.” It’s pattern recognition.
What happened in Kashmir is not just India’s problem—it’s a civilizational warning. Americans must reject the gaslighting that says this is about diversity or tolerance. It is about survival. And if we fail to act now, we will kneel later.
History will not remember those who stayed silent.
President Donald Trump condemned the massacre unequivocally, writing: “The United States stands strong with India against Terrorism. We pray for the souls of those lost… Prime Minister Modi and the incredible people of India have our full support.” That is the moral clarity America needs. Not cowardice. Not excuses. Not silence.
Stand up. Speak out. Never forget Pahalgam.
