Once upon a time, there was a president named Joe Biden who appointed someone as his “Disinformation Czar.” Nina Jankowicz was her name. She disappeared shortly after when the Democrat Party’s desire (and the desire of the billionaires who control it) to control who is allowed on social media clashed with the First Amendment, but she’s back! Nina has resurfaced in Europe, attacking our president and calling on the European Union to hold the line against free speech.
This was a blip in 2022. Jankowicz was named “Disinformation Czar.” It turned out that her definition of disinformation is exactly what you thought it was… any opinion she disagreed with. She also spread disinformation herself. The Disinformation Board was shut down and the media blamed us for it. This was all in less than a month.
Nina is in Europe now, where they support censoring opinions the government doesn’t like. Her message to the EU is to hold the line.
The Trump administration is undoubtedly preparing a pressure campaign to force EU institutions to roll back regulation like the DSA…
She is talking about the Digital Services Act. Tl:dr, it’s the law used to where Europe can control what opinions are allowed on the internet and have people arrested for causing what is called “offense.”
…to end support for Ukraine…
Zelenskyy is doing that on his own.
…to stop holding Russia to account.
She said this in Europe, where they fund Russia by relying on Russian energy. Yet, Donald Trump not virtue-signalling about Putin (who is evil) is what doesn’t hold him to account.
Do not capitulate. Hold the line. Doing so is the clearest signal the European Union could send to Russia and other adversaries that it will not stop fighting to preserve democracy at home and around the world.
For so many reasons, it was crucial for Donald Trump to defeat The People Who Controlled Joe Biden. The fact that someone like Nina Jankowicz would have had any power in a second term is in the Top 5 of reasons.
