From the website:
The Internet Archive needs your help.
A coalition of major record labels has filed a lawsuit against the Internet Archive—demanding $700 million for our work preserving and providing access to historical 78rpm records. These fragile, obsolete discs hold some of the earliest recordings of a vanishing American culture. But this lawsuit goes far beyond old records. It’s an attack on the Internet Archive itself.
This lawsuit is an existential threat to the Internet Archive and everything we preserve—including the Wayback Machine, a cornerstone of memory and preservation on the internet.
At a time when digital information is disappearing, being rewritten, or erased entirely, the tools to preserve history must be defended—not dismantled.
This isn’t just about music. It’s about whether future generations will have access to knowledge, history, and culture.
No aid for Arkansas after storms that killed more than 40 people…
Now, the state of Arkansas is working to appeal a federal denial for individual assistance for the March storms…
Disaster survivors in Arkansas left homeless by recent tornadoes have been blocked from receiving federal recovery aid after President Donald Trump rejected the state’s request to declare a major disaster in March.
The Trump administration denied Republican Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ request for individual and public assistance following an outbreak of severe storms and tornadoes that also affected neighboring Mississippi and Missouri and left more than 40 people dead.
I hope they will get that financial aid…

Holocaust victims by country…
Poland…
It should be added that if we go by % of population, then Lithuania had the highest losses. They lost 92 % of their jewish population in the Holocaust.
Moreover, in France, 75% survived mostly because they were very well integrated in the french society (not living in jewish neighborhood and such), so most of them had help to hide or escape, especially during raids…
Look at Poland again…

In 2021, scientists discovered a perfectly preserved dinosaur embryo inside a fossilized egg…
Back in 2021, paleontologists in China made a groundbreaking discovery—a nearly intact dinosaur embryo curled inside a fossilized egg, nicknamed “Baby Yingliang.” Estimated to be 66–72 million years old, the embryo belongs to an oviraptorid theropod and was found in a tucked position similar to modern bird embryos. This rare find offers key evidence linking birds to their dinosaur ancestors. The fossil is currently on display at the Yingliang Stone Nature History Museum.

Farmers, did your tractors just go crazy?
Many modern farmers use GPS-guided tractors to plant and tend their crops. Last weekend, some of them veered off course.
The same thing happened on hundreds of farms last May during a severe geomagnetic storm.
