Russell Wilson and his wife, music star Ciara, make up one of the more high-profile sports couples.
As of late, Wilson has been publicly promoting the idea of the couple having a fifth child.
That is not sitting well with Ciara, who is insisting that her husband stop doing this.
Time to stop
Wilson was once a star of the NFL, leading the Seattle Seahawks to glory and considered one of the elite QBs of the NFL, but that all changed after he left Seattle.
He struggled mightily in Denver, and his time in Pittsburgh was not much better.
Most football fans found it impossible to believe that he could go from such an elite QB to not being able to win a game over the course of one offseason, but Wilson has continued to struggle outside of the system that was in place by then-head coach Pete Carroll.
Wilson will now try again in New York, hoping to bring the Giants back to a top team in the league. Unfortunately for Russell, while trying to make his comeback, he will be in the largest media market in the league, which does not bode well for him once he starts to tank again.
Wilson and Ciara share three children: daughters Sienna, 7, and Amora, 1, and son Win, 4. He is also the stepfather to Ciara’s son, Future Jr., 10.
Ciara is getting upset with Wilson for leaving messages on her social media pages asking about “Cinco,” referring to a fifth child.
She stated, “Let me tell you, someone needs to take my husband’s phone right now, okay. Because he needs to stop.”
Ciara went on, “Listen, Amora [youngest daughter] came out and he starts talking about ‘Cinco?’ I’m like, ‘That’s just disrespectful! Do you know what I just went through right now with this?’”
She then tried to downplay her anger a bit, stating, “No, but he is so funny. He’s got a great campaign going, I’m not gonna lie.
“The people are following Rus, they’re all team Rus. Like wait… y’all not gonna have a little love and sympathy for my ovaries over here [and] for my uterus?” Ciara continued.
Here is an idea… how about you guys talk about this in your home instead of airing it out on social media because nobody really cares.
I just don’t understand the whole expressing your love and desires of someone else on social media when you share a home with that person. Sit down on the couch next to them and have the conversation rather than posting it for all the world to see.
