What began as a troubling shift in behaviour spiralled into a nightmare of rape and abuse, shattering her once-bright prospects. 

The other mother recounts the radicalisation of her son, a vulnerable young man on the autism spectrum. Drawn into extremist circles at the college, he became so consumed by ideologies—particularly surrounding Palestine—that he severed ties with his family and harboured ambitions of carrying out a terror attack on British soil.
