The fact that there are Americans who commit crimes means nothing when it comes to enforcing federal immigration laws. Rep. Pramila Jayapal knows that, which is why she’s forced to repeat lies to justify her stance against mass deportations.
There are so many things wrong with what she said that it’s unclear where to begin.
Firstly, it’s absurd that she mentions gun violence but not the fact that it is more of a problem in Democratic cities like Chicago. Secondly, no matter how much she keeps talking about Jan. 6, the American people will never care like she pretends she does. Nonetheless, it’s a blatant lie to promote the idea that Trump supporters killed police officers at the Capitol.
And the fact that she’s implying that criminal aliens should not be deported solely because some Americans commit crimes is deeply disturbing and proves she’s not in it to represent the American people.
Worst of all, this woman never gave a care in the world while Americans suffered under record inflation. Additionally, it’s also a coincidence that grocery prices only seem to rise when a Republican is in office.
Is she just going to forget this happened? And the fact that things are nowhere near this bad proves how big of a stretch her argument is.
She promoted the policies that led to all of that, and it’s extremely pathetic that she continues to gaslight the American people like Trump is the problem.
This woman is so disingenuous, and it’s astonishing people elected her to serve. Nonetheless, the crap she says is deeply unpopular with the American people and that is exactly why she continues to become more irrelevant by the day.
