
The House on Thursday passed a budget resolution after delaying an earlier vote to lock up GOP support.
The resolution passed in a 216-214 vote.
The budget resolution is critical to advancing President Trump’s legislative agenda on the southern border, tax cuts and energy policy, as it allows Republicans to avoid a Senate filibuster by Democrats.
