Every night, “experts” get paid to offer explanations for why Kamala Harris lost the election: the Democratic Party’s leftist platform is not aligned with the American public; Joe Biden threw her under the bus; if she had appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast, she would have won; if the weather had been colder; and so on. All of the explanations avoid the obvious. Kamala lost because she was a lousy candidate. Period.
If a Hollywood producer wanted to do a parody of the presidential election, he could find no better role model than Kamala Harris. With her word salads and incessant cackling, the Democrat Party’s nominee for president was a public fool and the least popular vice president in history. In her tenure as vice president, she did nothing that was noteworthy. As a candidate, she avoided interviews. When she did them, she refused to answer questions. When she opened her mouth, she sounded like an imbecile.
“I genuinely think the woman is an idiot,” said British journalist Julia Hartley-Brewer. “She’s been a terrible vice president. How she behaved when she was attorney general, apparently requiring the entire staff to stand up when she walked into the room and say, good morning general. The mad hysterical laughing at everything, the word salad, the absolute zero achievement on anything.”
Whenever I try to imagine Kamala sitting in the Oval Office, smoke comes out of my ears. Can a public fool really become president of the United States? “This woman would be in charge of the most powerful nuclear arsenal on earth,” said Douglas Murray. “The image of her cackling manically while saying nonsense, with her finger on the nuclear button, is just too much.”
For most of Joe Biden’s presidency, Kamala lurked quietly in the background. No one took her seriously, especially when listening to her speak. When Joe announced he would not run for re-election, we were awakened from our slumber with the very real possibility that this cackling public fool could be elected to the highest office in the land.
Thankfully, she didn’t make it. Many presumably intelligent people are ready to slit their wrists. Some of them are actually leaving the country. And for what? Because a vicious, conniving, immoral, unpopular, third-rate politician with extremely radical views came within a hair’s breadth of the presidency and failed. Are you kidding me?
And yet look at how close she came. Apparently, we live in a country where any boob has a chance to be elected president over someone who is eminently qualified. This is scary. If a phony like Harris can become president, anyone—even my dog—can attain high office. “In a functioning meritocracy,” said Tucker Carlson, “Kamala Harris would be a C-list massage therapist working out of a strip mall. Yet somehow she became our vice president. How’d that happen?”
Our useless legacy media went all-out for Kamala, but it wasn’t enough to overcome her lack of substance. “Perhaps there is a limit to how much deluded leftist economic idiocy even the legacy media can tolerate,” said Jordan Peterson.
In her first video after the election, Harris proved once again how unqualified she is for high public office. “I just have to remind you,” she slurred. “Don’t let anybody take your power from you.” As usual, no one knew what she was talking about.
“America is not going to elect this nimrod as its first female president,” said Megan Kelly. “I trust in them too much for that. They’re not that dumb.” America nearly proved Megan wrong. Harris wants to run again in 2028. Could she make it? I may lose a lot of sleep thinking about that.
