Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg visited Mar-a-Lago on Wednesday. This came months after he publicly praised President-elect Trump following a shocking assassination attempt in July.
Trump adviser Stephen Miller confirmed the visit during an episode of “The Ingraham Angle” on Fox News. He spoke highly of Zuckerberg’s perspective on Trump’s influence.
“Mark Zuckerberg has been very clear about his desire to be a supporter of and a participant in this change that we’re seeing all around America,” Miller told guest host Brian Kilmeade. “He understands President Trump is an agent of change and prosperity.”
Miller acknowledged Zuckerberg’s personal interests but tied them to a shared vision.
“Mark, obviously, he has his own company and agenda,” Miller said. “But he’s made it clear he wants to support national renewal under Trump’s leadership.”
Zuckerberg’s admiration for Trump’s resilience was evident in July. He praised Trump’s reaction to the attempt on his life in Butler, Pennsylvania.
“Seeing Donald Trump get up after getting shot in the face and pump his fist in the air with the American flag is one of the most bada** things I’ve ever seen in my life,” Zuckerberg told Bloomberg days after the event.
“As an American, it’s hard not to get emotional about that spirit and fight,” he added. “That’s why a lot of people like the guy.”
This isn’t Zuckerberg’s first notable interaction with Trump. In August, Trump revealed on FOX Business that Zuckerberg called to apologize over a Facebook error.
“So, Mark Zuckerberg called me twice,” Trump said during an Aug. 1 interview. “He said that was amazing. It was really brave.”
Zuckerberg reportedly expressed respect for Trump’s actions that day.
“He announced he’s not going to support a Democrat because he respected what I did that day,” Trump added. “To me, it was just a normal response.”
Trump also mentioned Zuckerberg’s apology for a viral photo error.
“He actually apologized. He said they made a mistake… and they’re correcting it,” Trump said.
