Even after a vacation, she looks exhausted…
A 10-minute video of Kamala Harris consoling grassroots campaign staffers went viral this week — but not for the reason the Harris campaign had hoped. The former Democratic Party presidential candidate looked rundown and spoke mostly in her signature word salads.
“I know this is an uncertain time. I’m clear-eyed about that,” Harris said during the virtual meeting.
“I know you’re clear-eyed about it, and it feels heavy,” she added.
“I just have to remind you, don’t you ever let anybody take your power from you,” Harris added. “You have the same power that you did before November 5th, and you have the same purpose that you did, and you have the same ability to engage and inspire.”
“So don’t ever let anybody or any circumstance take your power from you.”
Ms. Harris also bragged about raising $1.4B dollars — but failed to mention her campaign blew through it in 15 weeks and didn’t have as ingle swing state to show for it.
The campaign also ended up in debt.
Prominent conservative voices on X panned the video.
“I’m not sure you guys want to be amplifying this. There’s something, ummmm, off with the vice president,” Fox News contributor Joe Concha joked.
OutKick columnist Mary Katharine Ham wrote, “When you hand your phone to someone to police your social media posts when y’all go hard, you wanna hand it to someone who likes you.”
enior National Review Online writer Dan McLaughlin reacted, “No video like this would ever have been released by a politician who is not hated by her staff.”
“The joy is gone,” the Republican Committee of Prince William County surmised.
“Who thought this was a good idea? Who is this for? What is this for? What is she even saying? Once again, I will reiterate that we are ruled by imbeciles,” Atlantic contributing writer Tyler Austin Harper wondered.
Despite Harris’ landslide loss to Donald Trump, Democrats still consider her a top contender for 2028.
But will they feel that way in a year from now?
