Is there something in the water over at the Young Turks?
In recent weeks, both Cenk Uygur and co-host Ana Kasparian have been having strangely red-pilled moments, with Cenk defending Trump’s comments about Liz Cheney and Kasparian praising conservative laws in Florida. What is going on?
In a new clip circulating on social media, Kasparian described how a kind moment from a neighbor forced her to rethink everything she thought she knew about Trump supporters.
Partial transcript via Eric Abbenante on Twitter/X:
Kindness from a guy named Jeff completely changed Ana Kasparian’s view of Trump supporters:
“Trying to get this bicycle up the stairs, this guy stops me, his name is Jeff, ‘Let me help you out with that’.
Jeff and I became very close, he was my favorite person in the entire building.
We’re in a HOA meeting: One of the people living in the building, said something about Trump that was negative.
Jeff whispers in my ear ‘If she’s going to start trashing Trump, I’m out of here’
I got to know Jeff before I got to know what his politics were:
Incredibly kind guy, helps everyone in this building, with anything they might need.
That woke me up to : Not all Trump supporters are dangerous evil individuals.
I’m embarrassed admitting that.”

If Ana Kasparian’s mind can be changed, anything is possible. Perhaps this holiday season we will see more miracles of the human heart with unlikely people coming together.
