A defamation suit for one of Donald Trump’s former attorneys has just been given the go-ahead to proceed, to the delight of everyone in MAGA.
Former Trump attorney Stefan Passantino is going after MSNBC’s Andrew Weismann for comments he made regarding Cassidy Hutchinson.
If Passantino wins this case, it will be a crushing blow for liberal pundits who have had the green light to say just about whatever they wanted over the last decade, be it right or wrong.
Fixing the Media
I have seen numerous reports regarding the negative reporting surrounding Donald Trump since he first took office.
The numbers are staggering, and much of the negativity is a narrative specifically created by the media.
Sadly, that also extends to Trump associates, with Passantino being a perfect example of that.
On air, Weismann accused the attorney of encouraging Cassidy to lie, but his statement was the exact opposite of what he had told her, backed up by testimony from Cassidy herself.
After Weismann reported that Passantino had “coached” Hutchinson “to lie,” he filed suit.
The suit stated, “This is an insidious lie.
“Ms. Hutchinson even testified, under penalty of law: ‘I want to make this clear to you: Stefan [Passantino] never told me to lie. … He told me not to lie.”
Due to these lies about Passantino, he has also faced a complaint filed with the bar to strip him of his legal license… all built on a lie.
U.S. District Court Judge Loren Alikhan, however, has ruled that the defamation suit can proceed, a rare victory against the media that generally gives a very wide berth in terms of what they can say, even if it is not factual, to the public figures.
This is just step one, however, as we need Passantino to win this suit and hold the media accountable for its endless lies.
