Denver Mayor Threatens to Use Force to Stop Mass Deportations

Donald Trump won a mandate on November 5.

But almost immediately, resistance version 2.0 began to spring up.

And Donald Trump faced this scary ultimatum that could lead to civil war.

Donald Trump’s number-one campaign promise was the largest mass deportation program in American history.

Polls showed a majority of Americans supported Trump clearing out millions of illegal aliens that Kamala Harris and Joe Biden awarded free passage into America.

Democrats immediately showed the message of the election flew right over their heads.

Denver Mayor Mike Johnston told Denverite that he planned total resistance to mass deportations.

“The short answer is, we won’t change that, because those are one of our core values,” Johnston responded when asked if Denver would remain a sanctuary for illegal aliens. “And we’re not going to sell out those values to anyone. We’re not going to be bullied into changing them.”

“I think we are gonna continue to be a welcoming, open, big-hearted city that’s gonna stand by our values,” Johnston continued.

Johnston also said his administration wouldn’t lift a finger to assist federal authorities who wanted to deport illegal aliens residing in Denver.

“Absolutely not,” Johnston added. “We won’t do it.”

Johnston also predicted that Colorado’s Democrat Governor Jared Polis wouldn’t deploy the National Guard to participate in illegal alien removals which would force Trump to call in National Guard units from other states to begin clearing out illegal aliens in Denver.

“I do not believe that our governor is going to let them use our [Colorado] National Guard at the state level,” Johnston stated. “Unless they were planning on bringing national guards mobilized from Texas or Alabama to come invade Colorado, I don’t know where they would find the forces to begin to do that.”

But then Johnston veered into the territory of an actual insurrection.

Johnston claimed he would deploy the Denver Police Department to ring the city and meet any military units trying to enter the city with force to repel them.

“And that seems to me like a very, very bad idea from start to finish that no reasonable American would support,” Johnston exclaimed.

“More than us having DPD stationed at the county line to keep them out, you would have 50,000 Denverites there,” Johnston ranted. “It’s like the Tiananmen Square moment with the rose and the gun, right? You’d have every one of those Highland moms who came out for the migrants. And you do not want to mess with them.”

It didn’t take long for Johnston to backtrack.

Calling on Denver police to use force against the U.S. government could open him up to criminal prosecution.

In a follow-up interview Johnston tried to walk back his call for rebellion.

Americans handed Donald Trump a mandate for mass deportations.
