On election night, Kamala Harris was nowhere to be found.
She popped her head up out of the sand the next day to concede her race, then she was gone again.
Harris has only been seen in public once more, on Veteran’s Day, but she has been MIA ever since.
Hiding Out
When you can make Joe Biden look like a social butterfly, well, something has to be up, and it has people asking a lot of questions about where Harris is right now.
Well, we finally found out where Harris has been hiding to mourn her election loss.
She and Doug have apparently headed to Hawaii, probably hanging out with Barack and Michelle to digest the fact she lost a landslide election to Donald Trump.
The sleuths have tracked her down to Kalaoa, HI, having arrived last Tuesday, taking a break from life and her VP duties, not that she does anything anyway.
The excuse given by White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was almost comical.
When asked about Harris being gone, Jean-Pierre stated, “The vice president has taken time off to go spend time with her family. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.
“I think she deserves some time to be with her family and to have some downtime. She has worked very hard over – for the last four years, and her taking a couple of days to be with her family, good for her. Good for her.”
Kamala Harris worked very hard? She was almost invisible for most of the term, and only surfaced after Joe Biden stated that he was dropping out of the race.
The hardest work that Harris did was the three months of her campaign.
And let’s not forget, she and Joe vowed to keep working hard down the stretch for the American people, but she clearly has checked out for the duration.
As far as Joe is concerned, well, he seems intent on starting WWIII before he leaves office, so I wish he would go back to Delaware and ride out the rest of his term there.
The good news for all of us is that Joe and Kamala both like to take long holiday vacations, so if they don’t upset the apple cart over the next two weeks, I think we are home free.
