A significant snowstorm will impact travel in Colorado’s mountains during Thanksgiving week.
The 9NEWS Weather Impact Day has issued Weather Impact Days on Tuesday and Wednesday as Colorado is expected to see major travel impacts those days.
While the mountains in Colorado could see 1-2 feet of snow, the Denver area and Front Range will also see some slushier snow before the Thanksgiving Day holiday on Thursday.
A snowstorm over the weekend left behind a few inches of snow in Colorado’s mountains and a dusting to an inch across parts of the Denver area and eastern plains.
However, Monday will be generally quiet across Colorado. The high temperature in Denver on Monday will reach the upper 40s with mainly sunny skies.
A Pacific storm will begin arrive in Colorado late Monday, bringing snow to Colorado’s mountains late Monday and especially early Tuesday, with steady snow likely by dawn Tuesday morning across the mountains.
