Progressives are very miserable people and to run a University that means you are likely as left-leaning as one can get. This means that San Diego State University must be as miserable as humanly possible, as no one enjoying life would “investigate” students for a joke about a Halloween costume.
Two San Diego State University students dressed up as Diddy and a bottle of baby oil for Halloween because they thought it was funny. And the only reason this is an “issue” is because one of the students painted his face black.
According to The College Fix:
The biggest cause of concern, as you might expect in this day and age, was the “blackface” part of the male’s outfit. Never mind that Combs is awaiting trial for sex trafficking and racketeering, among other things.
A spokesperson for SDSU said “Our team is working to confirm information, including the location and the names and affiliations of the individuals involved. We appreciate the willingness of people who have come forward to share information with the university.
“The use of blackface and any actions making light of sexual assault are deeply offensive and have no place in a respectful, caring community.”
Even if the costume was “offensive,” which it’s not, that’s none of the school’s concern. And the kid is obviously not mocking Black people, he’s trashing an alleged predator suspected of the worst crimes and there is no reason someone should care he put face paint on.
Although painting your face black for a costume is not even close to the definition of racism, Progressives love to change meanings because truth is never on their side. But even if Black face was immoral, it’s still not against the law and students have the freedom to express themselves any way they want.
Every time there is outrage over face paint it’s rarely because it was done in a racist way but that won’t stop the woke mob from pretending to care.
Misery loves company, which is exactly why people are going after two college kids for literally no reason at all but manufactured outrage.
