“Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.” -Psalm 2:8
It amazes me that the Lord is faithful in giving us the heathen as our inheritance and the uttermost parts of the earth as ours. As I have said on several occasions, we were just the ones who didn’t know that we couldn’t get the job done (1 Corinthians 1:27).
Last week, we ended up in Rapid City, South Dakota to reach out to an unreached generation of young people who are America’s future (Proverbs 22:6; Luke 7:35).
What an honor and a privilege to be a part of their lives.
A man recently asked me where I just got back from and as I told him, he attempted to demean those young people to me by saying, “These are the young people that will be next in leadership” concerning our country, and I replied with “I hope so.”
These young people were exceptional, and if this is what we, as a country, end up with within 10-20 years, I have a lot of satisfaction in knowing so.
Here are some pictures of the School of Mines in Rapid City, South Dakota. Enjoy!
