Joe Rogan revealed the conditions under which Kamala Harris wanted to have an interview with him.
She wanted the interview to be only an hour long and wanted Joe Rogan to travel to her.
Rogan said, “My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being. I really hope we can make it happen.’
Joe Rogan said he’s still in talks to set up an interview with Kamala Harris, but that he won’t agree to the terms suggested by her campaign.
“Also, for the record the Harris campaign has not passed on doing the podcast. They offered a date for Tuesday, but I would have had to travel to her and they only wanted to do an hour. I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin,” Rogan said in a post on X, formerly Twitter. “My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being. I really hope we can make it happen,” he said.
Newsweek reached out to the Harris campaign for comment via email outside of regular working hours.
The discussions come after Donald Trump sat for a three-hour-long interview for The Joe Rogan Experience at the podcaster’s studio in Austin on Friday. The highly anticipated interview was widely watched, generating 36 million views on YouTube at the time of writing, and it was largely well-received by swing voters, according to analysis conducted for Newsweek.
