Podcaster Joe Rogan had previously suggested the GOP presidential candidate form a working relationship with comedian Tony Hinchcliffe.
Prior to his interview with former President Donald Trump, Rogan kicked around the idea of the campaign hiring insult comics to write “bangers for Trump to s**t on people.”

“It would behoove him to hire a few great comics to just tour with him, and just write one-liners about all these different fu**in’ people. If he could remember them. I know he likes to go off his own head, but if he could remember a few Hinchcliffe bangers. If he hires Hinchcliffe to take him on the road! You know how f**king insane that would be? Following the podcaster sitting down with Trump, Hinchcliffe appeared at the former president’s Madison Square Garden where he joked that Puerto Rico is a “floating island of garbage” and said Latinos “love making babies.” Naturally, he’s coming under fire from the left which is desperate to deflect attention from Vice President Kamala Harris’s ailing campaign.
Maybe some helpful advice from Rogan could bolster Harris, but the host explained that he wouldn’t agree to conditions set by the vice president’s team. The offer is still on the table, though, if both sides could come to a common ground.
“Also, for the record the Harris campaign has not passed on doing the podcast. They offered a date for Tuesday, but I would have had to travel to her and they only wanted to do an hour. I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin. My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being. I really hope we can make it happen,” he clarified in a post on X.
