Harris’ “middle-class” upbringing may have met its match with a new embarrassing low as her “knucklehead” running mate’s latest interview had him pivoting to “the safest roads.”
After accepting the unenviable position of having to defend Vice President Kamala Harris’ record, a general consensus agreed that Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz was summarily outclassed during the one and only vice presidential debate against Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance.
Unfortunately for the Democratic Party ticket holder, the ride to Election Day was only heating up and “Fox News Sunday” host Shannon Bream certainly wasn’t doing the Harris campaign any favors as the “folksy” politician screamed “foolish” instead.
Repeatedly ceding the floor to the politician to set the record straight left Walz serving up his own style of word salad as at one point he was asked to explain why he signed a law that allowed illegal aliens to apply for driver’s licenses, free healthcare and free tuition at state universities.
In response, the governor said, That’s not the vice president’s position, but I will say this: Minnesota ranks as a top five business state, we rank as a top three state for children living and we’re the top state for healthcare access. I would also add this. We also have some of the safest roads.”
Bream: You signed a law giving illegals free healthcare, free college, and drivers licenses. Why should taxpayers pay for those programs?

The self-described “knucklehead” was also made to confront his repeatedly debunked claims about his own background as Bream presented, “You’ve modified your story, or explained that you misspoke about things involving your military rank, about carrying a weapon in war, your 1995 DUI arrest, using IVF to have your beautiful children, Gus and Hope, being in Hong Kong in China in the summer of 1989 during the Tiananmen event — a lot of people would say they couldn’t get away with saying I’m just too passionate, my grammar’s not right, I’m a knucklehead.”
“What do you say to the American people who think, ‘I don’t know that I can trust this guy with all those modifications to be the potential commander-in-chief of this country?’” asked the host.
“I think they heard me,” defended Walz. “They heard me the other night speaking passionately about gun violence and misspeaking. And I gotta be honest with you, Shannon, I don’t think people care whether I used IUI or IVF when we talk about this. What they understand is [former President] Donald Trump would resist those things.”
“I have never disparaged someone else in this,” claimed the politician as he immediately followed that by saying, “but I know that’s not what Donald Trump does. They disparage everyone via personal attacks. I will own up when I misspeak.”
Tim Walz just got confronted by Shannon Bream on all of his lies from stolen valor, to carrying weapons in war, to Tiananmen Square, to how his kids were conceived.

Meanwhile, he was left flummoxed when the host called out the claim that Trump wanted to add a 20% sales tax, Bream shutdown the spin and corrected, “Just a note, that is a tariff which, by the way, this administration not only kept most of the Trump tariffs, but they added their own as well. So, that’s gotta be part of the conversation.”

Walz’s appearance on Fox News preempted a loaded schedule of softball appearances for Harris that included sitting down with Howard Stern, Stephen Colbert and “The View.” While some suspected the less-than-favorable ground for her running mate was further evidence of dreadful internal polling for the vice president’s campaign, others presented the possibility that it was meant to bolster Harris’ appearance as presidential by lowering the bar.
What was readily agreed upon was that the looks on Walz’s face were more telling than any of the answers (or non-answers) that he provided.
That look on his face, surely he has a story about riding bikes in his neighbourhood as a kid ? Or being the reserve coach for his school football team ?

Walz is so clueless. Also, the internal polls for Harris must be terrible to have Walz go on Fox News to do an interview.

Walz keeps lying and is simply outclassed! How can anyone defend Biden’s / Kamala’s policies? Walz is lying his entire way thru the interview!
