Taylor Swift did what was expected of her and endorsed Kamala Harris for President.
The expected endorsement has turned off many of her fans and alienated many MAGA voters.
And now a must-see video of a Taylor Swift guitar is smashing the internet for all the right reasons.
Taylor Swift is gonna hate, hate, hate Donald Trump
Redfield & Wilton Strategies recently conducted a poll gauging the power of Swift’s political opinions.
The results are startling, but not shocking in the celebrity-obsessed modern era.
According to the survey results, nearly one out of every five voters, 18%, say they would adjust their vote to align with a Swift endorsement.
“It is informative when people talk about voters because it shows you how little voters know about the issues, particularly young voters,” Towson University professor emeritus Dr. Richard Vatz said of the poll results. “Bottom line is, I think a Taylor Swift endorsement could have an effect in a close election, but it shouldn’t have an effect.”
Swift waited until right after the second Presidential debate before she endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris.
Her support for the Harris-Walz ticket came as no surprise.
Following Donald Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton in 2016, the biggest pop star in the world cried in regret over not doing enough to stop Trump from being elected.
That’s when possibly the singer/songwriter decided to get political.
She started helping Tennessee Democrats – including actively campaigning against GOP Senator Marsha Blackburn — pushing voter registration drives and, of course, endorsing former Vice President Joe Biden in 2020.
And while Swift has legions of swifties who follow her every word, much of America – especially football fans — is getting pretty sick of her.
While a Taylor Swift guitar gently weeps
And one man had the perfect opportunity to unleash his Swift oversaturation frustration.
And his simple action was caught on camera and is setting the internet ablaze.
According to RVM, it all happened at the Ellis County Wild Game Dinner outside of Dallas, Texas.
An older gentleman, who apparently goes by Gary, bid $4,000 for a guitar allegedly previously used by, and signed by, Taylor Swift.
Gary gleefully paid the freight, with the money going to charity.
But Gary wasn’t interested in playing the instrument, or hanging it in his home.
Gary grabbed a hammer and immediately began smashing holes in the Swift guitar.
Perhaps Gary was fed up with seeing Swift cutaways during Kansas City Chiefs games.
Or, Gary might be a Trump voter upset that the pop star is trying to sway the 2024 election to Kamala Harris.
But it was Gary’s money to do with as he sees fit.
However, the swifties don’t feel the same way.
The Swift mafia quickly tried to save face, with Variety reporting “a source close to her [Swift’s] merch company” telling the left-wing outlet that it was not “a certified official guitar used by the singer.”

The video — which has gone hyper-viral with 23 million views and counting – is getting spammed with hateful comments from Swift fans in various posts.
“Oh Taylor the impact you have on republican insecure white men,” one user tweeted.
“This is so embarrassing a whole grown up grandpa getting pissed to the point he wasted $4,000 on something that won’t even effect Taylor at all,” another wrote. “Republicans never fail to be dumb he could’ve used that for lots of useful things.”
“Wasted $4,000 and accomplished nothing,” a third wrote.
But that poster was wrong.
Gary accomplished at least two things.
First, he gave thousands of dollars to charity.
Second, he got a rousing ovation from the attendees at the wild game dinner – who loved seeing the Swift guitar quickly destroyed.
