The weirdest thing about Kamala’s and Sleepy Joe’s response regarding Hurricane Helene is that they cannot even pretend to care when the election is right around the corner. So while it’s unsurprising they did nothing significant this weekend for the people of North Carolina, you would think they would at least act like they are doing something but the best they could be bothered to do was pretend to sign blank papers and lie about taking a phone call at the beach.
Their lack of a response was so abysmal that Scott Jennings called them out.
Biden is supposed to be the most powerful person in the world and the best he could do was claim he took a phone call while he relaxed at the beach. That’s what the current President of the United States did in one of the worst natural disasters in American history. The fact that Kamala’s fake photo op with her headphones not even plugged in was her way of helping hurricane victims is a slap in the face to the people still stranded, waiting for someone to save them, as she proves she could care less.
Kamala opened the floodgates and made the world’s problems America’s burden yet she cannot do anything for actual American citizens. And the nerve she has pretending she will be all in for the little guy is telling, as she will mock you into oblivion while you wait in flooded water for a helicopter to come to save you.
Why has she not said anything about literal towns being destroyed? Why has she not said anything about people’s livelihoods being ruined in seconds? What will she do as the POTUS to make sure these people will have an adequate recovery?
Actions speak louder than words and the fact that she waited days to barely say anything speaks louder than all that.
You know things are bad when CNN becomes the voice of reason.
That being said, the moral of the story is to never rely on the government in times of crisis.
