Former Super Bowl Champ and Buffalo Bills outside linebacker (OLB) Von Miller has been suspended for four games after violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy, the NFL announced Tuesday.
Miller is suspended for four games without pay, but the OLB will be eligible for reinstatement on Oct. 28, after the Bills’ game against the Seattle Seahawks, the statement added. Miller was arrested in Nov. 2023 in Dallas, Texas, on a third-degree felony assault charge against a pregnant woman, a charge punishable by two to 10 years in prison and a fine of $10,000, according to The Associated Press (AP).
The woman involved and Miller have been in a relationship for seven years and share two children, the outlet reported.
No charges were filed against the NFL star, and he was freed on bond, according to Sports Illustrated. Police reportedly later found that the girlfriend had “minor abrasions” and “injuries consistent with applied pressure to the neck.”
