Republican nominee former President Donald Trump mocked Democrat presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris at during remarks on Saturday in Wisconsin, saying that while President Joe Biden “became mentally impaired,” the current Democrat nominee was “born that way.”
“Joe Biden became mentally impaired. Kamala was born that way,” Trump said. “And if you think about it, only a mentally disabled person could have allowed this to happen to our country”

Trump’s remarks were made against a backdrop that said, “End Migrant Crime” and “Deport Illegals Now.”
Blaming Harris
He blamed inflation, mass illegal immigration, and foreign policy blunders such as the deadly Afghan withdrawal and the Russian/Ukrainian war on Harris during the speech.
While Harris has tried to distance herself from Biden’s record, Biden threw a monkey wrench into her attempts on Wednesday when he claimed to have delegated “everything” to Harris–both foreign and domestic policy as commander-in-chief.
“As Vice President, there wasn’t a single thing that I did that she couldn’t do and so I was able to delegate her responsibility on everything from foreign policy to domestic policy,” he said while campaigning for Harris on The View.
In contrast, this is what Harris told Brian Taff of Philadelphia’s Action News 6 ABC on September 13 about her part in the Biden administration:
My approach is about new ideas, new policies that are directed at the current moment. And also, to be very honest with you, my focus is very much in what we need to do over the next ten, twenty years to catch up to the twenty-first century. I’m obviously not Joe Biden, and you know, I offer a new generation of leadership.
The chameleon
Nearly half of voters in a recent Economist/YouGov poll (48%) said that Harris says what she thinks voters want to hear, while only 36% think she says what she really believes.
The media has been working overtime to turn unpopular Harris into a viable candidate who could actually win an election.
When Biden stepped aside in July, Harris’s approval was only at 32%.
Now it’s at 48% due to an avalanche of favorable media coverage and a completely biased debate.
As digital strategist Greg Price noted, “Nothing about Kamala Harris has changed. The media machine has kicked into over drive and too many people in America still think the news is real.”
