Among the dangerous criminals mentioned in the report are over 13,000 convicted of homicide and more than 15,000 with sexual assault convictions. The report also highlights that more than 62,000 with assault convictions are currently residing in American communities. Critics of the Biden-Harris administration’s border policies point to Vice President Kamala Harris, who was tasked with overseeing border security, as responsible for the current crisis.
Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX) voiced his frustration over the report, stating, “Americans deserve to be SAFE in our own communities.” He further criticized the administration’s policies for allowing this surge of dangerous individuals into the U.S. Many of the illegal immigrants identified in the report have been in the country since 2021, with an estimated 7.4 million non-detained illegal immigrants now living in the U.S.
The report also shines a spotlight on sanctuary cities, which refuse to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement. ICE pointed out that these policies often provide protection for criminals, allowing them to avoid deportation and continue living within the U.S.
As the debate over immigration policies intensifies, President Donald Trump has used the ICE report to criticize Vice President Harris’s handling of the border crisis. Trump has called for stronger border security and stricter enforcement of immigration laws to protect American citizens.
The release of the report has coincided with news of horrific crimes committed by illegal immigrants, including child rapes and murders across several states. Conservatives are demanding immediate action to address the growing threats within their communities.
