A West Virginia man has been charged with murder after police found a dead woman in a home in Weirton.
Police arrived at the home Saturday morning to find Jordan Lee Pager, a 32-year-old American citizen, outside yelling at ambulance personnel while holding a gun, WTRF reported. Officers ordered him to drop the weapon and tased him when he refused.
Inside the home, officers found the boyd of 30-year-old Taylor M. Albert, dead from a gunshot wound. No one else was in or around the residence.
Pager was charged with first degree murder and booked into jail.
Police did not provide any information about what led up to the shooting but said the investigation was ongoing and more charges may be filed.
