Conservative podcaster Riley Gaines was forced to educate billionaire leftist Mark Cuban after he defended Vice President Kamala Harris’ otherwise abysmal record on the border.
As previously reported, Cuban is a staunch Harris supporter who has routinely gaslighted the American public about her record.
The interaction between Gaines and Cuban Friday began after Leading Report, an account on X, revealed that Cuban had said Harris “has done a good job protecting the southern border.”
Gaines immediately pounced.

Who’s gonna tell Mark Cuban that 320,000 children are missing under his beloved Border Czar? https://t.co/jks5fhH2LG

Hey @mcuban, we might have different standards for what qualifies as a ‘good job,’ but I don’t think the illegal entrance of 15,000+ rapists, 13,000+ murderers, and 320,000 missing children fits the bill.

In the tweets seen above, she directed Cuban’s attention to a bombshell new report revealing that over 15,000 criminal aliens with rape convictions and 13,000 criminal aliens with murder convictions have been let into the United States through its southern border.
These numbers come straight from a letter written this week by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials to Republican Rep. Tony Gonzales of Texas.
The letter noted that of all the criminal aliens who’ve been allowed into the country, there are “62,231 convicted of assault, 14,301 convicted of burglary, 56,533 with drug convictions and 13,099 convicted of homicide,” as later reported by Fox News.
“An additional 2,521 have kidnapping convictions, and 15,811 have sexual assault convictions. There are an additional 1,845 with pending homicide charges, 42,915 with assault charges, 3,266 with burglary charges and 4,250 with assault charges,” according to Fox News.
Cuban responded to Riley’s tweet a couple of hours later by again rushing to Harris’ defense.
“I have said many times they waited too long to fix the border,” he wrote. “The good news is that the latest crossing numbers are lower than Jan 21 and staying near 1500 a day.”
“And the VP has been clear she will sign the bi-partisan border bill. It’s a fair argument to criticize them for waiting to long. But you also have to acknowledge that they are now having success,” he added.
He then attempted to take a shot at former President Donald Trump.
“Which leads to the question of deportations. The republican nominee says he is going to deport the ’21m’ people here illegally. He hasn’t said how he will do it. Do you have any thoughts on this?” Cuban wrote.

Gaines replied shortly thereafter with an in-depth post addressing all of his supposed points, starting with his claim that border crossings have dropped significantly in recent months.
“The ‘1,500’ number is skewed,” she wrote. “Of course, they’ll slow things down to make it look like they’re doing a good job. This isn’t a new tactic—just look at what happens to gas prices before every election.”
“Meanwhile, they’re flying in illegal immigrants and dropping them into the heartland of America, often in places we don’t even know about. There should be 0 illegal crossings a day. It might be unrealistic, but that should always be the goal. Any candidate who hesitates to say that isn’t fit to be president,” she added.
Gaines then addressed Trump’s plans to deport every criminal alien by admitting it’d be “difficult and likely impossible.” But, she continued, there’s plenty else that Trump plans to do that isn’t impossible.
“The difference between the candidates is that one has committed to doing everything in his power to secure America—ending catch and release, increasing ICE and Border Patrol, cracking down on sanctuary cities, building the wall, etc.—while the other has consistently opposed policies involving mass deportation,” she explained.
They didn’t wait too long to “fix” the border. They took 94 executive actions to weaken it, including ending the Remain in Mexico policy.

Gaines also took a stab at the so-called “bipartisan border bill” that Harris’ defenders keep bringing up.
“The bi-partisan border bill is a Trojan horse,” she rightly noted. “The first time it was voted on it included funding for Ukraine. She campaigns on securing the border acknowledging (indirectly) the problems that have been created under the Biden Harris Admin…she’s been in the White House for 3.5 years. Why not take action now?”
Gaines concluded her clapback by reminding Cuban that she’s not against immigration but rather against illegal migration.
“My husband is an immigrant,” she wrote. “We’ve been married 2.5 years and he can’t get a green card. The current immigration process (or lack thereof) not only harms Americans, but it penalizes hardworking, honest people who love America that try to enter legally.”
