During the Georgia RICO trial, it was revealed that Fulton County DA Fani Willis had been having an affair with one of the prosecutors she hired to go after Trump.
That prosecutor, Nathan Wade, was eventually dismissed from the case (he voluntarily stepped away) so that Willis could stay on the case.
The House Judiciary Committee is now investigating this mess, but it is unable to locate Wade to subpoena him for his testimony.
Just Gone
We know Wade is still hanging out with Willis thanks to an officer’s bodycam footage.
Very recently, Willis’ daughter was pulled over for a violation, only to reveal that she had been driving with a suspended license.
Willis showed up to retrieve the car with Nathan Wade in tow.
Now the House Judiciary Committee is looking for him, but he has apparently gone MIA.
Committee spokesperson Russell Dye stated, “The Judiciary Committee has served over 100 subpoenas this Congress.
“We have done so, for the most part, without controversy or the need to use the U.S. Marshals.
“Nathan Wade’s evasion of service is extremely unusual and will require the Committee to spend U.S. tax dollars to locate him.”
It is a bit baffling why Wade would just go missing, as he has had no problem going on TV, radio, and podcasts to tell his story.
Perhaps he is just following Willis’ lead, as she had ignored a Georgia State Senate subpoena for an investigation into her alleged misconduct.
Her case against Trump has been put on hold, awaiting Trump’s appeal of Willis’ removal motion, which was initially denied by the court.
That hearing is not scheduled until after the election, so this is yet another case that may never see the inside of a courtroom if Trump wins the presidential election.
