Oscar-winning actor and comedian Jamie Foxx walked his daughter down the aisle at her wedding on Saturday, more than a year after being in a 20-day coma and unable to walk at all.
Corinne Foxx married college sweetheart Joe Hooten in Los Angeles, and her father was able to not only walk her down the aisle but also to dance with her at the reception.
The couple met at USC and dated for five years before getting married.
The proud papa has never been married, but also has a 16-year-old daughter Anelise Bishop with his former publicist Kristin Grannis.
Connie said after her engagement, “I’m hoping he can get down the aisle without crying. I don’t think he’s going to make it! He’s really excited, though.”
Foxx has not disclosed the exact medical condition that put him in a coma, but he did say that at first, he thought it was a bad headache.
