Democrats spent Super Bowl Sunday cooking up what could be their next major hoax and trotted out lying conspiracy-monger Adam Schiff to set the table for what will likely be a sustained campaign to reboot the Trump-Russia scam.
Seizing the moment of the percolating Putin paranoia over Tucker Carlson’s interview with the Russian leader and seizing on remarks made by GOP frontrunner Donald J. Trump critical of the freeloading NATO countries that don’t pay their fair share for their defense, the big lie that the former president is beholden to the Kremlin was given new life by the usual suspects.
On Sunday, Schiff joined Joe Biden’s former top spokesman Jen Psaki who now plies her trade as a host on Democrat propaganda network MSNBC to sleazily insinuate that there is something very sinister about Trump as it becomes increasingly likely that he will win a second term in the White House later this year, barring unforeseen circumstances or 2020-style electoral hanky panky from the opposition party and its legions of operatives.
During the conversation between two of the scummiest liars that the left has to offer, Schiff claimed that Putin will interfere in the upcoming election because he’s done it before, a fake narrative that will be repeated by leftists and their fellow travelers as the senile and deeply disliked Joe Biden continues his freefall in the polls.
BREAKING – HERE WE GO AGAIN: Vladimir Putin may interfere in the 2024 US election to re-elect Donald Trump, Adam Schiff (@RepAdamSchiff) claims, after ‘circle back’ Jen Psaki (@jrpsaki) baited him to go in that direction. WATCH pic.twitter.com/YKprD7zmaB

“Are you worried um that Putin could be attempting, the Kremlin could be attempting to intervene in our election in 2024?” Psaki asked. “And should we all be spending more time talking about that?”
“I am very concerned about it,” Schiff responded to the perfect setup. “It wouldn’t be the first time that Russia’s intervened in our election…”
“No,” Psaki interrupted.
“It wouldn’t be the first they’ve… tried to elect Donald Trump,” the California Democrat added, a lie worthy of five Pinnochios.”And they have so much more at stake today than they did back in 2016. With the war going on in Ukraine, with NATO enlarging around it, they feel beleaguered and here comes Donald Trump, a real lifeline.”
“They have more at stake, they have less reason to avoid risk,” he continued. “The United States is supporting Ukraine in the war, or has been until Trump’s influence on the GOP so they have more at stake now than they did before, they have less risk aversion than they did before so yes we should fully expect them to engage, it’s just a question of how much they engage.”
Talk about Boris and Natasha.
Trump’s remarks during a Saturday rally in South Carolina were seized upon to once again portray him as being in cahoots with the Kremlin when he was simply making a point in a boastful way that he’s not tolerant of the chiselers in NATO who need to pony up and pay their fair share.
Trump bragged that he’d encourage Russia to “do whatever the hell they want” to our NATO allies if they didn’t spend enough on defense.
He’s more interested in aggrandizing himself and pleasing Putin than protecting our allies.

“Oh, Putin must be absolutely thrilled. If you look at it from Putin’s perspective, you know, the war isn’t going well in Ukraine for Russia. Russians keep coming back in body bags. NATO is enlarging around him with two new nations joining NATO. NATO is strengthening,” Schiff also told Psaki. “And along comes Donald Trump there to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory for Russia and for the United States and our NATO allies.”
Birds fly, fish swim, and Schiff lies.
