Alabama police are searching for a 40-year-old woman they believe was in a vehicle accident early Thursday morning and was possibly seriously injured in an assault and kidnapped.
Nakita Davidson was last seen shortly before 2 a.m. near 6th Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr Drive, Birmingham police said. She was wearing a long, pink dress and pink Nike shoes, one of which was found at the scene of the car crash. Davidson’s burgundy 2008 Saturn Outlook was driven away from the scene.
Police said they found evidence of an assault at the scene.
“We believe she was seriously injured and kidnapped,’’ said Sgt. LaQuitta Wade, according to AL.com.
Davidson is described as 5-feet, 4-inches tall and 200 pounds.
