Celebrities and industry leaders are reacting to the death of music icon Tina Turner.
Turner passed away on Wednesday at the age of 83 at her home near Zurich, Switzerland.

“So deeply sad to hear about Tina Turner’s passing… I loved her version of Proud Mary! It was different and fantastic,” singer Joh Fogerty tweeted.

“She seemed like too strong a life force. She overcame…everything. Embodied strength, resilience, beauty, sass, warmth, dignity, TALENT! Along w/so many, I will treasure her music & legacy forever,” she wrote.
“Turner became one of her era’s most enduring female artists, with smash hits like ‘What’s Love Got to Do With It?’ and memorable movie appearances,” ABC News reported. Her top song hit number in 1984 and led to her Grammy award in 1985 for record of the year.
