What happens if you don’t see your fake disaster happening? It’s easy to do. Brazil seems to be doing this. To simulate the future effects of a “climate-change” that will kill the Amazon rainforest, Brazil is pumping carbon dioxide into the air to see when the rainforest starts to die.
Carbon is not the danger that alarmists about climate change would have you believe. Carbon is not only essential but also vital to the cycle of life. Carbon is literally needed by plants to grow, and they also convert carbon into oxygen. Carbon is also found in humans.
I’m not a scientist but I will admit that too much carbon could be harmful to living things. This includes plants. Climate alarmists have consistently been wrong for the past 50 years. I don’t hold my breath that this disaster will happen. If climate alarmists succeed in their quest for science, they could have people holding their breath (holding their breath), if they get their way. They would kill the Amazon and reduce carbon emissions, which would lead to less oxygen. You ignorant science denier, don’t even question the experts.
The Associated Press reported that on May 24,:
Brazil is building a structure that looks like something from another planet. It’s a six-ringed complex of towers, ready to spray carbon dioxide mists into the Amazon rainforest. The reason for the project is entirely terrestrial: To understand how the largest tropical rainforest in the world responds to climate changes.
AmazonFACE will investigate the forest’s amazing ability to sequester CO2 — an important piece of the puzzle in the fight against global climate change. Scientists will be able to determine if the region is at a tipping-point that could lead it into an irreversible state of decline. This feared event is also known as Amazon forest dieback. It would transform the most biodiverse rainforest in the world into a drier, savannah like landscape. Each ring will be made up of 16 towers that are as tall as a 12-story house. Three companies will supply the carbon dioxide to prevent any shortage.
You wouldn’t want the threat of running out of a substance that could damage or kill a part of an important ecosystem!
David Lapola, an AmazonFACE scientist, said that even if we stopped deforestation today in the Amazon basin, the forest is still at risk for experiencing the effects of a tipping-point due to climate changes.
According to the AP, FACE is an acronym for Free Air CO2 Enrichment. The technology was developed at the Brookhaven National Laboratory in New York. The Brazilian Federal National Institute for Amazon Research is leading the project with funding of $9 million from the British Government. According to the AP, the project will be fully operational in the middle of 2024. The AP reported that an atmospheric chemist, who claimed that the eastern Amazon was a source of carbon more than it could absorb, praised the project.
After decades of climate predictions that failed and climate projects that cost money, we’ve learned one thing: we can’t trust experts.
